steering issues

alright i have an h2 on 26 inch rims i have the rancho ride control system an a rancho stablizer shock iam still getting wheel kick in both directions almost like the tires are working against each other i was wondering if anyone has had similar problems or does anyone know of products to help keep the front end from wonderin an wheel kick also with my experiance with trucks your suppose to use a single stablizers for 34" tires an under well my truck has36" tires which normally you should buy a dual stablizer well rancho told me they do not make dual stablizers for an h2 actully they said no company does according to there records if thats true they better be makin one hell of a single stablizer an honestly i believe that might be my problem but iam unsure thanks for your time an comments

check your pitman and idler ARM...when they go caput it looks like this:

wow thats insanly bad yes the pitman arms an idler arm where also a concern of mine everyone watch that video i hope my truck never gets like that honestly that blows my mind that the pitman arm an idler arm will allow it to do that

My pitman, idler, and tie rod ends were worn out at 8,000 miles and had never been off road.

thanks for the suggestions yea speaking of the shocks i just bought the rancho in cab adjustible kit wit the 9000s its pretty amesome makes the ride amazing

Whats the proper way to check the idler and pitman arm

You can wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while someone eyeballs you linkage, lots of play in any joint is a bad thing. Not sure on specs but anyone with some front end exp can tell by looking. Also if you have wide tires they dont fit the ruts which are in most roads and will make the truck wander trying to find the line to run.

an remember if your idler arm an pitman arms are wore out 9 outta 10 times your inner an outter tie rods will be too when my idler arm went out it all went out something that you might notice when wiggling the steering back an forth is a delay in motion say youve just turnd right an now turning left your steerin my still be turning right before rebounding to the left thus being a pitman arm/ idler arm problem do not go with stock replacement idler pivoit kit upgrade to a stronger/bigger idler pivot it will help to prevent it from happing again aswell id go with bigger tie rods inner an outter to fix the problem for ever occuring again along with the idler arm/ pitman arm support bracket this will fix your problem it worked for me night an day diffrence the trucks funnier to drive now handles much better those parts stock are just too weak for how big these trucks are
