rear tire carried

I am interested in getting a rear tire carrier for my 2005 hummer h2,I looked at the units selling on e bay wondering if they are worth the money or try to find a used one.ny thoughts would be appreciated :clapping:

HI there I fitted one ,however I made sure I got one with three 3 mounting bolts on the hinge side there is early models of the tire carrier that has only two 2 bolts this has problems so if your buying one buy the one that has 3 mounting bolts ,it will mean that you will have to drill a extra hole for the third fixing also you will need to drill a whole into the rear bumper for the rear plate light ,that you will drill just to the right of the letter R where it says HUMMER make sure you get all the cables etc ,,good luck ,,oh I do believe the the tire mounts after 2007 had three bolt hinge fixings I could be wrong

Don't know when they started with 3 bolts, but my ride is a 2006 and has the 3 bolt mount.......................
