So my low fuel indicator light came on and I stopped to get gas. What amazed me is that it showed full after only pumping about 25 gallons. Is it possible that I do not have a 32-33 gallon tank?

So does this mean I am going to be filling up every 22 gallons burned?

I think it is actually just a 25 gallon tank? I am pretty sure. I do think it should have been a bigger tank for sure.

Manual says 32 but I"m in the same boat with you. It's filled up at that point.

I pretty sure I've pumped at least 32 gallons before...it's hard to do, since a lot of pumps around my way automatically stop pumping at $75.00.

The fuel tank capacity is 32 gallons, I have put 30 gallons in before, I think they played it extra safe with the gauge as I drove on the fuel light for quite a while before filling it as well.

I was a needle width over an 1/8 today before I filled up with 27 gallons.

Assuming they may have given a little fudge room in case you are wheeling. Going in a straight line on a gallon or two is ok due to the baffles in the tank keeping some gas flowing in the direction of the pump. Trying to go extreme incline/decline with only a gallon or two I am assuming could stall the truck. Just my opinion as I have not seen the inside of one of these gas tanks to look at the baffles...

I just did the very same. So when I got home I pulled out the HPTuners and started poking around. The computer thinks the gas tank is 29 gallons, so when the needle is pegged on E you should still have 3 in there... YMMV
