I mean that in a good way! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Today I had my fiber installed at the house. It is running my dial tone and data – so far my speeds have been constant at 19.8Mbps download and 8Mbps upload. Needless to say I am pretty happy with that!

I have found my linksys 4pt Wireless G router kills the speeds on wireless only. I was hoping the 54Mbps would just pass the 20Mbps of Internet bandwidth through, but no. I only see 8Mbps on the wireless network - still 20Mbps on the wired lan.
I wonder if the security is slowing things...weird.

Well I had ADSL2+ (best effort 24Mbps down 2 up - it boiled down to about 13Mbps down and 1Mbps up) for $34.95/month.
SO - they just upgraded me to the Fiber for an extra $5/month. So about $40 + dialtone and LD = about $70/Month for my total phone bill, calls included. I am getting a real 20ish Mbps down, and 8Mbps up!
