Installed these 3157 LED's in lieu of the factory DRL bulbs. They don't come on. I put it in drive and nothing. I called carID and PUTCO. Terrible customer service. Before I return these I was wondering if I did something wrong. Thought these were just plug and play?
Hi turn the bulb around and plug it back in the socket and see if it works. Led bulbs are polarity sensitive pos must go to pos and neg to neg if its not correct they will not work. Did the factory bulbs work before?

agreed, they'll only work one way.
Mine, even though they still work a lot of the led's have burned out.

I'm betting they've burned out from overvoltage...leds dont like that extra juice.

Thank you for all your assistance. I did flip the bulbs and that did the trick. HOWEVER, the PUTCO LEDs are very dim. They remind me of lights off a 1977 VW Beetle. Very disappointing! Also, sometimes they work and sometimes not. Odd thing is they do this as a pair, so you never see one side out. Either they are both on or not. I'm testing them "in gear" to make sure.
I've already ordered PIAA headlight bulbs and DRL bulbs. BTW, I bought the LED's from CarID.com and I wound never recommend this outfit. I've been put on hold twice for 20 minutes or longer and they never return my emails.
Hi your welcome, glad i could help. I know not to deal with CarID.com now thanks. DRL are only on during the daylight hours unless you make a mod to have them on a night to did you do the mod?. Also small led bulbs are not much better than a normal bulb and some suck, but should {quote} last longer and do draw less amps. I put hid lights in my bumper with different light housings and mine are on at night to they are triggered with the low beams. They work very well.
