Sharpton wants his own sitcom (http://www.ew.com/ew/article/reuters/0,24012,1137575_10_0_,00.html)

"I don't know if I am a good actor or not but I will be playing myself and I have been practicing that for 51 years," the New York Democrat and civil rights leader said. <span class="ev_code_RED">No sh1t!</span> http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Sharpton said he was attracted to the idea of a sitcom because "this is a way of impacting and bringing a social message in a way that people can digest it. We will talk about our differences and our commonalities." <span class="ev_code_RED">Uh huh, I can see the script now.</span> http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

If CBS doesn't pick up the show Sharpton could always threaten a boycott to get paid anyway. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
