took my radiator out yesterday, was leaking near the lower mount. turns out it was plugged, and they are unable to fix it. so they are going to call me tomorrow with a quote on re-coring it. what does a new radiator go for? i found the aluminum radiators on Predator's website for 1500$; is it worth it? didnt really want to spend that kinda change...

I really have not heard of anyone being all that happy with the alumunum rad, there are those that like it, but the people that bought it expecting it to solve cooling problems have not been happy. I cant tell you off hand what a new one from HUMMER with cost you, but I would suggest checking ebay. They pop up from time to time, usually because the seller installed an aluminum rad.

The Predator radiator, while an slight improvement, is not worth the $1500. Have your old one recored and pressure tested. It will last a long time if you change your coolant every 2 years then flush.

Dave at bluehummer outfitters Quoted me at $1084.00 for new. I've also seen several lately on Ebay also oil coolers for $50+ but there used and not tested, sold as is. So you might get a good one(but you might not)

No, the fan and fan clutch are different. AMG only.
