Does anyone know if the WAAG rear Bumper Guard will work in conjunction with a rear tire carrier? It looks like it will, but I can't entirely tell. Does anyone have this?

Thanks in advance,
-Justyn

This one is polished stainless, hangs low through the middle, but does use the stock bolts. Get new, longer bolts and you are good to go.

Make an offer if you are interested. It is collecting dust in my garage.

And the "No's" win...

I e-mailed WAAG today -- received a very prompt reply telling me that it will not, but they do have one that will. It is the Bumper Step, which I really don't like anyway, go figure. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

What else you got for sell over there Ken? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I need some black taillight guards if they are laying around in your stockpile somewhere!

Well let's see.

Oh yeah, I will have two stock roof racks for sale sometime in the near future (cheap). My Stealth Gobi just arrived. I have not checked the packing slip yet, but I assume the lights and FREE LADDER http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif are in that big ass box. Thanks GOBI.

I may wait until I move to put the rack on. I know, according to Sandra, that with the rack I should have one inch of clearance into the garage. However, I have a relatively steep incline into it. I will have an 8' door on the new place. I thought ahead on that one. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

That's what I'm doing on the house I am building now. Next time I talk to the builder I would actually like to see my options for an even higher door without going to the ugly commercial look. 9 foot would be my ideal height.

Just think if you ever put 37" tires on you will use up that inch of free space you may have.

KenP, did you say you have the rear tire carrier or the rear s/s guard for sale cheap?

Frank, sorry I missed your post. The new house is going to have and 8' door. Tall enough for 37s and a rack.

BTW, Sandra sent me a Stealth for the Sunroof H2. Guess what... It will be perfect! How do they know these things? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Folks might not even know what it is without that big label on it! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think the issue about those guards is how much they decrease your departure angle. Looks to me like they would put the squeeze on you there. I know if they were on my truck they would loose their aestetic appeal very quickly.
