I noticed that the 04 H2 has a one touch sunroof. I was just wondering how hard it would be to make the 03 a one touch sunfroof. Do you guys think just replacing the switch would do it or is it more complicated than that?

I want to do the same. Why don't they make everything one touch? Why can't we have one touch up on our windows. When I'm closing my Sunroof... people think i'm flipping them off. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Are you just talking about opening or closing? Beacause in my 03 If i hold down my button for at least 3 seconds, I can release it and my sunroof will continue to open.

Thanks Dan, You're making me wish I would've waited. I could use the pickup bed anyways! BTW, tried my sunroof it isn't express open.

I really must wonder if it would simply entail a switch change. I imagine the front and rear windows use the same motors since they are about the same size, but only the front windows are express.

Since it appears the sunroofs are the same and would presumably use the same motors then the switch would be the only difference.

Just a guess using the best logic I can come up with.

I went by my dealer today and the switch, motor, and relay have the same part number from 03 to 04. Unless his parts program is not updated those pieces are not the answer. Don is going to check on it for me.

Anybody find a fix for this yet? Just curious as my Tahoe I just got rid of had the express open, now I want my 03 H2 to do this!

Went to the stealership yesteday to find out more info. found out that they don't do this for "safety reasons." i said I didn't care! Can I just change the switch. he said no, that you would have to do the motor as well. I cannot see how that would be the case. I'm ready to take apart my DR SD controls and hook that switch up and see if it works, unless someone else has already done this. Next I'm going to locate the motor mechanism and compare to the tahoe. If we could get a part number to the tahoe motor and switch and compare, i think we can make this work.
