I don't know if this is the right place to post this so please move if it is in the wrong place.

I am searching for a video of a hummer from a few years back scaling a 90 degree wall. I've been looking all over for it and haven't been able to find it, anyone know of it or am i being dellusional.

Your level of dellusionalability, is dependent on the height of the 90 deg wall.

A few feet high...sure.

10 feet high? No way.

Well i don't mean it went over the wall, just that the vehicle stands on the two rear wheels, i swear i've seen it somewhere =/.

I've got videos of H1's scaling the stock 22 inch vertical wall.

Is that what you're looking for?

I've personally done this, It was extremely stupid, and I would never do it again, especially since the bumper dug in, and I almost didn't get out of it! And no, it won't actually climb the wall, just stand up.

Also, you end up with all the hot antifreeze going everywhere from the overflow tank!

Wow, tough crowd! So here's my 2 cents.
90*'s 10 feet high, is this not otherwise known as VERTICLE? And by that definition would the hummer BE verticle just before it pitched itself backwards onto it's LID? I don't know, maybe it's just me. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Giga, maybe you could be a little more specific to help us figure out exactly which vid you're looking for.

You're a little off.

Do a Goggle search for H2 verticle climbs.

Anything less I can e-mail you a video clip from Power Rangers of Razerriptor scaling the Hoover Dam.

We've always said that all along.

"Why buy an H1 when you can have an H2 or H3 that does the exact same thing?"

Whenever I see an H1 I always laugh and think how sorry I feel for the poor sap that spent all that money and they still have a hard time following the H2. They look ridiculous driving around downtown parked in front of the Starbucks all spotless. They're also a nightmare to maintain and breakdown too often.

Smart move in getting an H3.

Friend:

I'm visiting from the H2 forum. I know the video you are talking about. It shows an H2 climbing up on a 16" high platform. It is very impressive. I saw it once and didn't bookmark it. I have since looked all over for it, and I have never found it and have given up.

At least you're not delusional (or at least not alone in your delusion).

If anyone ever finds it, I'd like to see it again.

Best regards,

George

I love all these web wheelers who think they know everything by looking at an image on their PC monitor http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

yes im a webwheeler and ive owned a H1 since 97 and a spanish built vamtac t7 since 01. The company i own specializes in H1 engine swaps to a supercharged 8.1 gm, ford triton V10 and twin turbo steyr monoblock. We also build a complete suspension lift for the H1 not a BL like the Alpha.

What locking diffs did the H1s have? Standard of aftermarket air/e-lockers?

Im sorry but my H1 or VH1 would make short work of that little rockery.

Without seeing it for yourself, you really can't say that http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I have no doubt that a H1 could make it, but it would have to be on exactly the right line, etc, etc, which is difficult as you slide around a lot on that obstacle.

Only one H2 ever made it up, modifed Jeeps did it all the time.

It is all kind of moot anyway, as that particular obstacle is no longer accessible, so I doubt we'll ever see a H1 make it up now http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I have 42" tires and a front locker, rear locker and longitudal locker. Of course the right line is the key. Isnt that the case with most obstacles?

To Alec W and RicH2...

I wasnt the one that spouted out. Spouting out was the moment you called me a webwheeler. So presumtious when you dont even know who the hell i am.

I call a "spouter" when I see one!
For someone to say an H1 will smoke the H2 without even being there, is someone talking out of their cornhole!
Both of the vehicles have their downfalls. Clearance is the H1's, and front lockers are needed in the H2 and I'm sure the list can go on and on!
You are right in saying I don't know who you are...But until I do...you're a WEBWHEELER!
