I like the 20" Lexani Wheels that Kacyk had. I think I'm going to get some myself. I'm thinking of the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Any thoughts on how this tire rides? I'm also between the 325/60/20 or 305/50/20. Which size tire do you guys think would be best? As you can see, Im kinda new to this.

I currently am riding on 20" inch with the 325/60/20 Toyos. I will tell you right now that the look is perfect, but you will pay with the ride. That is not to say the ride is bad because it is not. Lets just say it goes from cadillac to buick.

Even though you are riding on very good tires such as the Toyo...the ride is not as smooth? Does anyone has much experience with the Terra Grapplers? And if so, do you feel the same about them?

I have the Nittos 325/60/20. They are not as smooth as the BFG 315/70/17 OEM tires. I originally ordered my rims with the 305/50/20 since it was cheaper but returned them since it looked unsafe for the massive weight of the H2.

Going from a 70 series to a 60 is going to compromise the ride quality...reguardless of tire brand. You have lost sidewall, and that is what helps the ride of the truck. But, if you may have noticed, you gained cornering ability..yea, I know its a H2 and not made for corner carving...but the sidewall change will make a marked difference in handling.Just be more carefull in the rocks...

Tonka, did you get the Lexanis? Post pics. I'm looking at a Yellow H2 tonight and it already has Alcoa's.

kacyk,

I ordered the Lexani's today and am getting them on tomorrow afternoon. I will post pics as soon as I get them. I just hope they look as good as the ones you had. I was having a hard time deciding between the 325/60/20's and the 305/50/20's....I went with the 325/60's and from the sound of nikramos's post, I made the right choice. By theway, I thought you sold your H2 because of family reasons....are you getting another?

I think the chrome Lexani's on a burgandy H2 will look even better than mine did. Also, you made the right choice with the 325's. A extra width makes it look great!

We did sell the Pewter H2 but my whole family regrets it. Now that we have a 9 passenger Yukon, the H2 will work for my wife as her daily drive (grocery store, kids school, etc). It's amazing how much we all miss the beast!

kacyk,

You are right, the extra width on the 325's makes a difference...I love the look. I am very satisfied with my new Lexani's. Thanks again for your recs!
