My GPS icon on my Nav screen (right under my North arrow) keeps appearing on my screen and then turning off. This seems to be happening alot more since I got my axxess ipod interface installed. Any ideas on why it is doing this? Thanks

Mine does the same thing and started to do it after install of xm radio. It means your GPS signal is weak possibly from electronic interference. No cure other then removing the electronic devices. Since my Nav works as well as before I do not worry about it, although it did bother me for the first couple of months. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

That's why I junked the OnStar and used the OnStar's GPS antenna for the NAV unit. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The NAV GPS antenna is mounted in the dash, and the OnStar GPS antenna is mounted on the driver's side roof.

The connectors are different, so you will have to make a custom adapter cable.
