I have a factory sunroof which I use all the time (day and night - I love the size and the open feeling you get). Recently, as I hit the switch to close it - the motor seem to slow to a stop - at time I need to help push it close. This does not happen every time I operate the sun roof. Have any of you experience this and is it just a motor thing that the dealer can replace? Just want some input prior to me hitting the dealer.

Thanks http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

When mine is slow to close - I have the wife take her tongue and lick the side aluminum rails - you know "OLD FASION SPIT LUBRICATION" it works every time! TRY IT!

Try adding some lube to it, if tHAT DOESN'T WORK, THEN THE MOTOR IS GOING BAD, AND THE WHOLE ASSEMBLE WILL NEED REPLACED, AND TRUST ME, YOU DON'T WAAN DO THOSE.

ops, sorry for the caps
