Russia's version of a civilian Hummer (http://apper.ru/2006/03/19/ukrainskijj_khammer_pod_nazvaniem_vepr.html)

Interesting... I would like to find the stats or a video of it on a trail.

Kinda looks like a Lexus on roids.

The online translation didn't come out very well, but you can get a little bit of info out of it.

When I was at the Sacramento Hummer Dealership, the sales manager was on the phone getting an H3 shipped out to Russia. That's crazy to me that someone in Russia was buying a Hummer from the Sacramento Dealership.

Information on the Ukrainian-made VEPR (http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://steer.ru/archives/2007/01/25/002602.php&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522honda%2Brx%2522%26hl%3Den%26safe %3Doff%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26hs%3DJkf%26sa%3DG) Commander is scarce, but here's what we could find out through Google translations. The massive vehicle is 16.4 feet long, 6.5 feet tall, and weighs over 3 tons. One site claims it can carry 15 passengers, while another says 21 passengers. That probably means 15 adults or 21 pint-sized little league players. Judging by its badging, the beast is probably motivated by a 4.0 liter turbodiesel, but then, you can't judge a car's performance by its cover any more. Price? Well, again, there's some disparity. One figure we found was as low as $20,000 another said $70,000, though what currency wasn't specified.
