My brothers friend Just bought A 96 H1 turbo diesel.How long will it take to replace heater core ? Any removal install info would great.

If it's not converted over to the new HVAC style it'll be labor entensive, that is if you can find the parts to do it............

Looks like factory setup I will look into it further.
What parts might not be available.any info on install? tricks, tips ?
Labor being intensive no big deal my brothers used intensive jobs he will just charge his buddy acordingly .

This is what I have any ideas for quick and proper removal of heater core? And how much time to complete repair ?

PITA.

That is a first design system, you may have to replace the whole front HVAC if the core isn't available anymore or if it can't be rebuilt.

I just put a stop leak in mine to keep it from seeping. It is a 5.5 hour job at the dealer.

Also, your AC compressor is leaking a bit, you'll have to replace it pretty soon.
