Auburn may be coming out with an electrical locker for the H1 next year 2005.
Why are they better then Eaton?

This is probably the locker you are referring to. http://www.auburngear.com/oemdifferentials/ected/

Wow! It has a lot of claims.
"The ECTED is "seamless" to the driver. When wheel slippage is sensed it instantly and automatically engages to the torque bias level required"
Maybe not a good one to have as a front locker. Or a back one on the street. Thanks for the link. Off road only. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't know, it sounds like it is trying to be the best of every thing. Can be a regular open diff all the way up to fully locked and it is electric. I don't thing the "seamless" aspect was referring to locking up completely but rather to being a limited slip type.
