Anybody know who might retrofit an auxiliary fuel tank? I need extra fuel for my trip, and don't want to hassle with cans if I can avoid it.

Try your local RV repair shop.

what did you decide on the aux fuel tanks? I'm sure there are others who would be interested in what you learned and perhaps have decided - including myself.

But I'm looking. . . I am REALLY wanting an auxillary tank more than ever now, as I have another nephew [that makes 3] coming with us for the trip. Every square inch of space is becoming critical, and if I can utilize wasted underbody space AND keep the weight low, it's a win-win.
I'll let ya know as soon as I know. . .

It seems like there is plenty of room for another even bigger tank under the H2. In addition to the RV place another place to check might be a race shop where you can get a fuel cell (very safe) used in race cars to mount under the H2.
