Hey everybody!

Need a little help. Looking to add a DVD player to the rig. Got a couple of questions.

1). Has anyone put a DIN DVD player in the Onstar location (removing Onstar)?
2). If so what type, how did it look, did it fit, etc.
3). What did you do with Onstar?
4). Does anyone know if Onstar could be relocated to say a Yukon or Tahoe rearview mirror (controls are on mirror) if you use one to replace the factory Hummer mirror? Does it just plug right in?

Looking forward to your expert opinions.

Hi,

I had the Onstar replaced with the Pioneer DVD Nav head and moved the Onstar buttons to between the AC vents. I originally wanted to replace the interior mirror as you want to do but ran into compatability problems with the versions of Onstar. This was despite help from Klaus, Onstar and Gentex. Also, be sure to check the arm-length of your mirror "candidate" to be sure that you can make adjustments without hitting the overhead console. If you find the right interior mirror and make it work...be sure to post your findings!
