My CD player is now not working. The only button that does anything is the load button which tells me the changer is full. It won't even let me eject a disc. Anyone have any thoughts?

Did you disconnect the Soundgate adapter yet?

I had that fixed. Everything was working fine. Do you think the interface has something to do with it?

I got my H2 back yesterday from tinting the front side windows.
After the tint my soundgate worked again after 3 weeks of inoperability. Tint, radio, tint, radio,...

I tell ya, this Soundgate thing is the spawn of the devil.

For awhile it was displaying a message saying initializing, but still nothing.

Yes. If you have not yet removed the Soundgate adapter, that is your next move.

Well then there in lies the problem.. I want to use an interface so I can have audio to my video setup. Has anyone discovered an interface that performs correctly? I almost want to yell at Chet from SoundGate. To think of all of us just from this forum who went out and bought that damn unit.

This will be the next alternative:

The AUX-GM24 is a standalone auxiliary input for most 2003-2004 GM vehicles. Unlike our AAI-GM12, the AUX-GM24 works with vehicles that do not come with factory XM, factory DVD or factory external CD changer. The AUX-GM24 will have two auxiliary inputs selectable by the headunit's button. Even works in most vehicles with the factory 6 disc in-dash head units. The AUX-GM24 will come with some cool features not seen in other manufacture's auxiliary inputs. More details and vehicle application guide coming soon.
