After my Hummer was totalled out by a Jeep last week by a Drunk Driver. I found out tonight that the Honda Civ I ran over, is the only son to a very good friend of ours, I do business with his mother quite a bit. After talking to the mother tonight, we both think that the Lord put me and my Hummer in his path to save his life that night.

No question that the lord stepped in!

By the way I have a bumper sticker - yes bumper sticker on my H2 on the rear corner of the lift gate that reads.

DON'T LET THIS CAR FOOL YOU
MY TREASURE'S ARE IN HEAVEN !

We saw it before we picked up the H2 and the lettering was white and yellow on a black background. It turned out the yellow matched the H2 yellow perfectly. I had it magnitized at one of those quick sign places so I can remove for washing. It looks small on the H2 but it gets the point across.
God Bless You for sharing your story. I have a similar one.

If the driver of the jeep was drunk....then I have absolutely no sympathy for whatever befalls him on account of his accident.

Kinda makes you wonder...if the punishment for drunk driving was 20 years imprisonment, your hand being cut-off, or even the death penalty (as they have in some countries!!!)...maybe we'd see less of this. Either way, I'm happy Ariz. Boy, his family and the kid in the Honda are okay.

Wow! My daughter turns 16 in little over a year. She wants me to buy her a H3 for the "safety" factor. Despite my limited knowledge of safety engineering she and my have the perception that a large rig with big tires is the way to go. Brings tears to my eyes... :crying:
