The christmas tree is still hanging in there.

It hasn't given up and died yet.

I think we'll see it at Moab...

I was thinking about the tree, while reading other posts earlier.

At least Hong is happy http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

It's not an asylum.

It's a "special place" with "free party drugs"

Is there a reason the tree is in the tub?!

Ship,
What kind of tree is that? Frazier fir? Maybe you should try a Douglas next year. Guaranteed to die in two weeks.

Kenp wins the prize for most insider knowledge! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

He has it exactly right. It's Hong's first Christmas. She arrived here in May...

We got the tree (like normal), decorated, celebrated, and then on Jan 1 I went to take it down.

You would have thought I was getting ready to fell a California Redwood to make patio funiture. (Which BTW is a waste... we can and should farm trees...)

Hong apparently enjoys the smell of the tree and wants to keep it around.

I may be forced to add a sunlamp as part of the life support system soon.

The good side is the pine sap has greatly reduced your chances of slipping in the shower.

Thanks Ken!

I figured it was - but I had no idea why anyone would want to keep it this long! That is pretty wild!
