The Blues Brothers is a good chase scene.
I also like ones that don't have a lot of never could happen in a million years effects. That's why Bullitt and Ronin top my list.

The best best lead-in line that preceded the best chase:

Elwood Blues: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake Blues: Hit it.

Ill have to go with demolition man .

There is a chase scene near the end of the movie featuring a '70 Olds 442 driven by Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock's characters'chassing down a futuristic Police Cruiser that was driven by Wesley Snipes character.

I like the donuts the 442 does them very well.I sometimes go to a empty parking lot and rip a few off.I love the smell of rubber.I dont use the 442 often but when I do I tear up the road . Thanks again Klaus.
These days you have to be carefull if the cop writes the ticket up for "participating in a speed contest" its a felony and they take and keep yoour car if you are convicted.

By the way my wife didnt get ugly just older. As with fine wines she improves with age.

Is that the married with children actress when she was younger ?

Bullit was the one and only. Any car guy knows this. The detail, the effort, the authenticity. You gott read bout it's history to understand. Just got back from 'Frisco, very nostalgic.

Other's looked better, had more action, but Bullit's it.

I'll find the link to the history and background to the movie and that chase, it's awesome.
