So ijust took a 2500 mile trip. I left the house when it was dark and noticed that my headlights and dash lights were flickering from time to time. sometime they would get brighter and sometimes they would go on and off very dast. i took it Bergstom hummer in Milwaukee. They repalced some module (PN 15064149). They said this should take care of them problem. They couldn't tell me what could have caused it tio go bad, but I should be fine. So that same night, it starts doing it again. DAMN! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

so I drove the truck all the way back to Denver with it doing the same thing. being Sunday, I didn't have a choice. Anyone have ideas on this? I checked for DTC's and nothing comes up either. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

That really sounds like a connection problem. May be difficult to track down but if you have access to the wiring diagram you might want to troubleshoot yourself. If both the headlights & dash lights are doing it its got to be in the root circuit (not a branch circuit). Just some thoughts.

Here is an easy check. Look through your hole in the front bumper where your front tow hook comes through. You can see a bolt in there with some ground wires attached to it. Make sure those are tight.
