Hey everyone, i'm new to the forum and just had a quick question. Alright, I'm getting my H3 thru the GM company owned vehicles (tagging)program. Now, are there any dealer stipulations when handling a sale like this? am i able to just contact any Hummer dealership to take care of this? Any info is greatly appreciated!!

I'm in Michigan by the way, so if anyone knows anything about hummer dealerships in the metro area please share!

Thanks!

First question, where is the tagged vehicle located? If in MI, just contact the nearest dealer give him the information and go for it. (I would highly recommend Friendly Hummer, Rob Carlton, M-59 and Romeo Plank).
If in another state, a MI dealer can handle, but you have to pay for shipping or pick up. Another solution is to have the dealer give you an authorization letter and a dealer plate and you can pick it up from the out-of-state Pep office. (If in TN, write me, I know the ladies who run that office, since I worked next to them for years.)
If in another state, you can also purchase through a dealer in that state, but you have to go pick it up from the dealer, and most likely you will have to pay sales tax in cash to MI. (Not a problem if not financing. Lease would be figured with taxes where you live.)

I should also note that you have to contact the tagging office in so many days and give them the dealer information.

hey thanks F5! I got the info on the truck a few days ago, it's located in Michigan. I actually already confirmed my request. I'm glad you suggested Friendly Hummer, thats where I planned on going. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to set everything up.

Thanks again,
Taryn

oh yeah, if this dealership gives out referral bonuses like some, I will email you so that I can tell them you referred me

Rob did me right, and so far their service department was great the one time I went there for the transfer case fluid fill bulletin. In and out in less than 40 minutes.
