Just FYI re: 37 inch tires and no lift...

Nitto Mud Grapplers in 37x13.5x18 mounted on 18x10 Weld wheels with 4.5 inch offset...the outer edge of the tire does rub pretty hard on the fender well when turning. No obvious rubbing anywhere else while on-road.

Before I start hacking away at the plastic, I'm going to see if I can get enough height out of the torsion bars to eliminate the rubbing.

Just thought this might be useful info in case anyone was considering a similar installation.

Thanks, Phil, I appreciate the advice. Would it be dangerous/difficult for a shade-tree mechanic like myself to do the adjustment? Reason I ask is, I plan on taking it in to 4 Wheel Parts for the Fabtech front end kit installation, which, as I understand it, will require a realignment. If I can do the torsion bars myself and break it in for your 50-100 mile recommendation, then take it in, I'll only have to pay for one realignment.

Pete, post up if you figure this out. I'm going to the same tire on a 17x10 rim and want to avoid the lift cost and if I can't am REALLY worried about having to reconfigure the height of my garage door so I can park my beast.
