another build date thread

Hi all,

Yeah, another thread about build dates. I placed the order at the dealer on Labor Day weekend and just got my order # from them this morning. I called the Hummer hotline and they told me my build date was the week of November 7th. 9 weeks wait time before a build date ?? Does this seem reasonable?? I've noticed most people here had a build date about 4 weeks after their order date, some even sooner then that!! Any thoughts on why mine would take so long (ordered nothing special that should hold it up)??

I think the more stuff you order(i.e. lux, sunroof etc) the higher priority (sooner you get) your vehicle. Thats just what I've heard though dunno how true it is.
