I was wondering if there are any Hummer clubs that wouldn't mind taking a new H3 owner in. Not a big rock crawler but would love to go on some trips that have a little difficulty and scenic views. I am not into scratching the truck it is my first one and it is my baby! So if anyone has any info let me know.

I run with them and they are a great group of people to run with.
They should be a e-mail address some were on the site, so they can let you know when the next run will take place.
It says there are going to be no trips this summer because of the fire season. It isn't that bad. This web site has not been updated in awhile either. It would be nice if there was an active club for Hummers in AZ.
well then one of you old men that has some time on your hands start one up! I'm in for sure just don't have time to run everything needed!

Funny! The scenic part is correct but I don't have tons of money like most of you Hummer owners! I'm fresh out of ASU with little money but love the hummers! Just don't want to ruin it to quick!

There is finally going to be a snow storm down here in Tucson. In the mountains, this weekend. Maybe. Anyone want to do the Mt. Lemmon back road? Drops a mile in about 10. Should be some slippery fun.
I wouldn't mind going one night or a weekend day. What night do you usually go or is it just at random? I need to get some tow straps before I do anything! I live in Ahwatukee do you ever go out that way or do you like to stay around the Cave Creek area?

Yellow H3 and Myself have spoke in the past about starting an H3 club... I even sent e-mail to everyone on the boards at the time trying to get interested people involved. I wiould be more than interested to get involved starting an H3 club up in fact here is an logo for the website i worked up but after no real interest other than YellowH3 the idea kinda went to the weig side. Let me know I'm in BTW can you tell whats different with the picture?

Its reversed the gas cap is on the wrong side. Come on next time challenge me! I am down to do that though my girl is a graphic designer ti think we could do better then that for a logo lol!
The AZ jeep club has several boards and organize their own trips all year long. A website with a local board where Hummer people could do that. Let me know if I can help.

Well it was a quick pic and done over a year ago just as an Idea when yellowH3 and myself were about the only two out here actually wheeling our H3's. It wasn't designed to be a challenge. was that after saturday yellow? that was a good little rain we had I took mine over bye south mountain and ran it up a couple trails and through the mud.

Hey Tim, how was the traffic at Four Peaks? I played up in Payson on Saturday then came home and worked all day Sunday pulling everyone out that got stuck on Four Peaks and Mount Ord. We got three of our trucks stuck on Mount Ord rescuing some campers then had to use a snow cat to get them out on Sunday. What a mess. All that snow and rain will postpone the closures for a little while though.
It looks like a repeat storm could hit next Sunday. Lots more snow for that area.
You really think Four Peaks will get that again. I don't know that is a very rare occurence. but I hope it does.

Jeff, it was crazy out at Four Peaks on Saturday morning. We hit the mud at Sycamore on Sunday. I was hoping to see you out there either in the work truck or the H3. Its alot fun...weve done it for about 4 years now...we have won money for fish of the hour, its fun to pull the 5th wheel out and the boat...they do a concert and fireworks in the evening, my husband and the kids go out early and I join in the H3 on Friday (have to work)till then but it would be nice to see other H3ers out there. I no the other girls in the group will all jump in to go out 4 wheeling while the guys are fishing and drinking....

I spent the last two weeks doing training out at Pleasant. TONS of logs and sticks in the water from the runoff so you may be better fishing off the shore if you like your prop.
Tim, I'll be on the water at Saguaro most of the time this year once summer hits so I won't be around Sycamore much, but I'm game for some wheelin' before summer schedule hits and I'm working every weekend.

well...last year the water was full of crap also so i guess we just deal with it. Ill be bring up our quads also (toyhauler) so Ill be playing with my truck and my quad. the only thing about the pleasant lake is you cant ride until you get out of the park part, i do like when you cross the carfree hwy on the south side it has some cool areas to ride. we are leaving tomarrow and we will park everthing up there for about a week. See ya around sometime...

Many years ago I used to take an annual m/c and atv trip from Pleasant to Crown King. It was one of the best trips and this is the best time of year. I heard the road is a bit rougher now though.

OK Gang I just got back in town and have noticed No One has set a meeting time to get together and discuss a H3 club here in the valley, SO I am going to do it. How does this sound.
Friday April 14th at the FuddRuckers on Indian School road in Scottsdale at 7PM.
7145 Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
I have talked with Lund and if we get this going they will allow us time to hold meetings at there different dealers around the valley. I also have a partnership with Flickas Baja Cantina in Scottsdale who said we could meet there and he will provide us with some snacks and non alcohic beverages for our meeting.
Well on this note lets get it started.

What time are you meeting at the resturant? And is it still on the 14th? The girls/kids (my group of friends) are planning a quad ride out past the Fort Casino that weekend but maybe i can stop by the resturant and at least say hello and met all of you. Yes, count me in, but I'm working 18 hour days right now, seven days a week due to a special detail going on and I barely have time to sleep so I'm sure I won't be able to make the first meeting. Hopefully this schedule won't last, the overtime is great, but 126 hours a week is killing me.

Sorry....completely off topic here but I was wondering if any of the local Phx area H3's have run the Terminator trails up near Table Mesa.
I read the factory FJCruiser group ran them for testing.
I'm guessing an H3 would have an easier time with the extra control of 4:1 in the tcase.
Just wondered if any of you guys have run it.

Let me know its a 50 mile drive for me. hate to drive all that way and no one show up.

Soooooooooo whos going????Ill be at happy hour at Keagans/32nd street and Camelback and probable buzzzzzzzzzed so I dont want to drive far. I live very close to that sports bar so I just play frogger across Camelback in my truck. Anybody want to met there so Laura dosnt get a DUI?????

Well, We had at least four people say they would be there. I even called several. But in the end it was just myself and my wife that showed up. We waited until 8Pm then we headed out for a few drinks and a little dancing.
So I guess from an optimistic point of view the group can only get bigger from this showing.
There was plenty of advance notice also. But hey the wife and I had a great time despite the poor attendance.
Well that was my attempt to get some of us together. Maybe someone else will do better with their attempt someday.
