Kick ass post H3 Hummer!

My dealer was telling me the front brush guard is a bitch to install and they are wanting $900 for it installed. I really want that bad, but not for $300 install and $600 part!

My wish list...

- Front Brush Guard
- Splash Guards (finally, a car that actually NEEDS these!)
- HUMMER license plate holder
- HUMMER letters
- Rubber floor and rear mats
- Front window tint
- Chrome gas cap
- Hood handles
- Spare Tire Cover
- Small Antenna

Speaking of spare tire cover, what do you all think of this for a Birch White H3?

Thanks f5fstop! I was curious what the going rate was for the tire covers. I've only seen it up on ebay and had no clue what "retai" was on one of these things. Good to know what I have to work with! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Just found another one on ebay.

There are 44 tire covers in stock (you get them custom painted) and they are cheaper than the site listed above. They're $249.99 "Buy It Now"

Painted Spare Tire Cover (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7986849215&ssPageName=MERC_BC_ReBay_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_W0)

I'm wanting to know the quality on these things! It looks like the white is a bit off in the picture above. I'm also trying to figure out if I want it all painted, or if I want the edge to show the stainless steel part.

Just letting you all know.

Really they charge you $300 to install it? MSRP is 600 I would think that would be including installation. Besides on invoice the part is $440, so they're actually charging you more to install it than the part even cost after you count $160 they're charging over their cost. I really want it too but I'll ask around.

The first add on of aftermarket stuff I want is Vizualogics' Dual Headrest DVD for roadtrips

That is great information Christopher, with your permission I'd like to post a link to this on my blog ... it's really useful info for Hummer owners considering these types of extras.

Information can be uses wherever you like.

I like h2parts.com for my accessories. They are cheaper then the dealership but website is kinda cheesy. Doesn't look like a secure connection for check out. Orders can be faxed or emailed though.

f5fstop,

I just looked on the GTStyle4U website and they have changed the image! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif The ripped off the HUMMER Logo from the cover. I'm not sure what's going on here. I had bids going on one on ebay, but it's at the price now where I could just buy one of the 41 he has in stock and is $150 cheaper than the GT Style page. Works for me!

I need to contact the seller as he is from Florida and the GT Style is in California. Oddly enough, the images "were" the same on ebay as they were on GT Styles page. Good thing, his seller rating is 100% after 154 transactions.

Anyone else get the cover?

I am debating on doing either a black with white HUMMER logo or do the one in the picture for my Birch White H3. Thoughts?
