I have a Roady 2, which is great inside the house, but sounds really crappy in the car. (The sound is just plain FLAT going through the "unused FM station" thing...)

I think I have seen that there is NOT a GM satellite radio kit for the 03 model... right?

As an obvious and self-proclaimed techno-moron, what are my other options for a good (and easily installed -- no, not me doing it, thankfully! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) satellite radio?

I have just about given up with the poor radio reception due to the factory antenna http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif and need another option!

Forum member LasVegas installed XM (and nav) in his '03. His recommended parts vendor is discussed here: http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/6706011751/m/6061097101/r/4441039101#4441039101

Forum Elder, Klaus, did it first(I think).

Excuse me a minute while I put away my walker. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I think I was the first on this forum to install the GM XM Kit. I have a homemade set of instructions in PDF format if you are interested.

I would love to see the instructions -- maybe I can find someone qualified to install it here! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

With Klaus' instructions, you can do it, no problem.

Here's a link to a thread where I posted scans of the GM XM Kit installation instructions.
