I'm thinking of a roof rack(custom) and adding lights front and rear. I know there's an external point to tie into power to run the marker lamps and OEM lightbar, but i don't know where. anyone have a pic of how to do this? I'm assuming that it's all wired to the two internal dash ports for lights? thanks for any help.

I know theres some wires above rear bumper in a cluster to be used for a trailer. There might be a better way though.Check the find button many have installed roof lights.

Power to the marker lamps is at the underhood junction block, Connector C5, terminal 1.
For off-road top lights it is C5, terminal 3. For the grille lights it is C1, terminal 36.
Now, I have seen an installation at the dealer, where they installed a front non-factory light bar part of a rack. They drilled a small hole in the roof top side rail, ran the wire from that point and under the A-pillar exterior molding down into the engine compartment. They then sealed the hole. It was really hard to notice how they wired the lights.
You could also do the same thing for the rear lights.
However, if your rails are cracked, and you will be getting the new ones in May, I would hold off on the wiring. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
