KMC Backseat Update

Some of you know I bought some black KMC Backseat wheels that arrived with a large chrome hub cap. I still have mixed emotions about it but here's some information if anyone is considering this wheel.

According to KMC, they make two versions of the model 125 wheel. One is specific to the H2 (that comes standard with a flush black or chrome center cap). The other is a generic 8 Lug that has a huge hub hole to fit the likes of Dodge, etc. Thus the center caps are not interchangeable.

So if you want these, be specific. I found out the hard way. Les Schwab is still trying to work with Wheel Pros to make this right for me. Fudge!

Part II - KMC just emailed me saying that they do NOT make a H2 specific Backseat (with flush cap). Therefore if you want these in 18 inch, you're stuck with the giant hub. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Otay, time to sell these wheels... Any takers?

I got the Backseat 20's with the black flush center cap. I have yet to put them on though...

I had the 22's with the large cap, it was a mis order, then I made them make it right (looked way better). The hub centric backseat has a smaller flush mounted center cap. Don't let anyone lie about that...
