Winch mount?

I've been looking over the pics of the rough country H3 trying to see just how they mounted a winch on there. I could make something like that pretty easy, but question how well it would hold up while winching. I'd like to find a way to mount a short drum (50' rope) winch behind the bumper? Is there room back there? I haven't yet taken off the bumper to see and its pretty shrouded back there...

Ramsey makes a real nice winch bumper, maybe you could get some ideas from that one
