I work in NYC and have to park in a garage. My Antenna hits the height limit bar but I have good clearance from the crossbows.

I was going to switch it out for one of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EuroSport-ANTENNA-Hummer-H3-only-15-inches-tall_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33639QQitemZ801335 1318QQrdZ1#ebayphotohosting). Just wanted to see if anybody out there knows if this is ok or if you came across anything better.

Thanks

I've had one for a couple of months. I think it works nearly as well as the full sized OEM antenna, but it sure looks a whole lot better. I hate big whip antennas.

Since I listen mostly to XM radio any minor reduction in AM/FM reception doesn't matter too much to me.

Once the Eclipse goes in with Sirius, the stock Antenna is going in the garbage!

i found a shorter antenna than 15", i'd really like to get it but 'm not sure if the thread size is big enough..it says it has a 5mm thread w/ a 6mm thread adapter as well..now does anybody know what the thread size is on the H3 ?
I looked at it and it seems larger than 6mm...

Thanks

Just wanted to give this a bump.

This antenna works better than the stock antenna.
