Hey Jerr, what are they charging you to install that?
I looked at the same thing and they wanted 399 for the unit and another 500 to install to work with the bose, onstar, and steering wheel controls....
charging $1,700 for everthing

should of used the 1000/1 would pushed better. that 500/1 is a waste unless that is an 8W7 haha..
maybe if you heard it with the 500/1 , it sounds great , yes i know a 1000/1 would work better but the 500/1 sounds good enough for me , any louder and id probably go insane , but since you kno a lot about amps...since the 500/1 is a waste http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

he's replying to the guy who claimed a shop offered it to him for $399....I've seen refurbished for $800....$399 is way to cheap. Why do aftermarket radios have trouble with the onstar system?

Sorry, I meant to say 1399, not 399... I wish that screen was that cheap!!!
It looks sweet... but my biggest hurdle will be getting a 10'' sub somewhere inside the SUT without blocking the use of the rear gate or folding the seats down so my bulldog has a place to hang out...

My onstar & stearing wheel controls still work with my kenwood 7015. I used the soundgate module-x designed for the 2005's. I have to say that its amazing. By the way Jerr you should spring for the nav system and a good backup camera, it was worth it for me!
