Hey there guys.....yet another question and this time a pretty concerning one for me.

This last weekend I was driving at about 70mph with the cruise set. I was driving on a flat four lane highway, nothing out of the ordinary. Suddenly all kinds of warnings come up, big message "OIL" comes up on the info screen and everything goes dead. I pulled over, shut the machine down, called OnStar.....no error codes. Started the truck and everything was fine.....

Sunday the same thing happened again....while I had my cruise on. (I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.) It scared the hell out of me both times and both times no error codes from Oc Star.

I will take it in to the dealer, but any of you had that happen, sen a recall or a TSB or anything like that?????

Thank you very much for any commentary or response.....

We had a brand new Eagle Talon Tsi in 1996, Did the same thing, Going 60 on the highway and ALL electrical shut down. Took it back to the dealer and they couldn't find anything. So we took it higher, got a mediator involved, quoted the Lemon Law and was given a replacement. Never had a problem with that one! Good luck
