Are the factory roof racks with the Luxury package easy to remove? I was just wondering in cast it doesn't fit in my garage

Yep. Pull up the black plastic plates which trap them at the back of the roof channel. Loosen the knobs on the stanchions and slide them all the way back. Then lift off.

Exactly what tower said. Just be careful with the plastic stops, they break easily. Not that anyone could see them. You may need a small straight slot to wedge it up.

Thanks guys I tried and tried to remove the top plastic roof rack plate in the back of the channel and I thought that Id break something so I tried to unscrew about everything, nothing worked and then I saw the article about just pulling the tab back and prying it with a flat head screwdriver and they popped off with a little effort....It feels like you will break the plastic but it comes off believe me. Thanks you saved me a trip to the dealer not to mention looking like a dork probably to the shop guys.
