I am ordering these 22" wheels, and was wondering what the opinions are on the Nitto and Toyo tires. I am stock height, so what size would I need to go w/ to avoid scrubbing? Also, which tire has the least amount of road noise? Any and all help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I've had both and they're both loud. But I love the Toyo's.

Nitto Terra Grappler and Toyo what? Toyo Open Country M/T's are equivalent to the Terra Grapplers.

I've have Terra Grapplers, Mud Grapplers, Toyo Open Country A/T's and M/T's.

IMO - Get the Terra Grapplers if you want All Terrain or Toyo M/t's if you want a more aggressive off road look.

Go with the Toyo M/T's. I just mounted a set of 37 x 13.50 x 20's on 20 X 10 Moto Metal 951's. Zero road noise. I've had every tire from Super Swampers to BFG's. The Toyo's are awesome. A little bit of rubbing. But I installed a 2" leveling kit and the rubbing is gone. Believe it or not it looks level too.

Can you post some pics?

Also, do you all think the 20" or 22" would look better w/ the 37" Toyo tire?

yes if you go with 20s or 22s you need at least 37 inch tires

Generally, I've found that if you think you're gonna have road noise, you're gonna have road noise. If you are thinking about putting mud tires on your truck, they'll look awesome. And, they'll have road noise. It's not an unbearble paddle tire hum, but there is noise.

Kind of like getting an H2 and expecting good gas mileage. You just can't get both worlds.

If you ignore it and don't stress over it, you won't ever notice. If you like the look I'd say go for it.

I have the 37" Toyo M/Ts, btw. The noise doesn't bother me a bit.

I haven't priced the 20", but so far, a set of 5 of the 22" w/ the 37" Toyo M/T is going to run me about $3500 installed. Does that sound about right to you all?

BTW, thanks for all the imput!

My 37 X 13.50 X 20's On 20 X 10 rims no longer rub.
