windshield cracks on ends

hello..newbie here..I have a 2005 sut and the windshield got a crack on one side edge started about 1/2 way up curled into windshield and went about 4 inches up....2 weeks later got the exact same thing only on the opposite end of the windshield...anybody else have this happen...defect???...chassis flex....only road driven so its a mystery......

p.s. I'd love to go to paragon with it....but its the wife's to drive and its leased...so she's afraid to scuff it up....

That should be covered under warranty. It sounds as if the soft rubber pads that hold the windshield away from the metal framework are missing.

Has this windshield been replaced before? The same result has been pubished in the past.

I get cracks while driving on the highway behind people. It happens more often when in the snow/slush/crap.... any ideas? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
