ordered a 2007 H3 !!!

Finally did it ... went down to Al Serra yesterday and ordered a 2007 slate blue 5-spd with adv pkg, monsoon stereo, rock bars and body-colored grille!

It was a long drive down to Colorado Springs but worth it. There's no way I was gonna buy from Medved. They don't know crap about the rigs on their lot and kept trying to make me sign a purchase agreement just to get a 5-spd on the lot for a test drive :eek:.

In about 6-8 weeks, I'm gonna have to change my screen name :D

Thanks! Dealer said it would be about 6 weeks, sometime in mid-august, barring any holds or shortages.

Sure hope it's not much later. I want to take that bad boy up my favorite trails on the divide before they get snowed in this fall. The trails above Montezuma (Red Cone, Webster Pass, Radical Hill, Sts John) don't stay open much past Labor Day. Still lots of good wheeling to do below timberline, tho.

You said it. They lied about the 2006 incentives, the location the two 5-spd Adv H3s in Colo, availability and pricing of 2007s, and the trade-in value of my 4runner ... not to mention the hard sell, pressure, and complete ignorance of features and options. Bunch of losers :rolleyes:

Anybody in Colorado ... go to Al Serra and talk to Stan Parsons, sales mgr. Awesome guy ... knows everything about hummers and never tried to hard sell, low ball or pressure me into options I didn't want. He told me about all the incentives (that hopefully will still be around) and gave me a good deal on my 2007 (pending incentives on delivery).

I know you won't get it before August. The plant will be down for 4 weeks. 2 weeks normal summer shutdown and 2 additional weeks for 2006 inventories that are too high. Sorry for the bad news.
