15k checkup? BS or worth it?

i went to the dealer to get my oil changed and left lean angle adjusted and the guy was like you need to do your 15k which costs 500 bucks. anyways i prolly wont do it cuz i dont care but if i did care would you pay for this service or just do it yourself? seems expensive.

I call it BS. You need to get to know a mech. Look at the owners Manual on sugested 15 k service. most can be done by any garage

x2. Ask for an itemized list of what they'll do for the service. You'll see all the BS stuff they add on to make it look like a lot of work.

i dont think anything major is due till 25K thats how the book reads just service I or II depending on use . i have always gotten the level II service about every 4k miles :)
