Tested my H3 out on the North Shore of Oahu this weekend and he did just fine.

Check out the video here:
http://www.pacdesco.com/hummer/vids/bone_tested.html

The funny thing is there was a bunch of lifted Jeeps and a couple of Toyotas hangin out and when I asked them to try the hill I just climbed none of them wanted to. The Jeep guy kept complaining that he didn't have any lockers and his wheels would just spin but I was thinking my H3 has no lockers either but it crawled that hill with no problem :D

On the way out we saw a dropped toyota stuck in the sand and did our duty as a hummer owner and yanked his sorry ass out. We also stopped at a mud ditch and did some scrambling but I'm going on my 3rd day and I'm still removing the mud - LOL

Oh sorry - almost forgot you may need the most recent Flash Player to view the video: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

Yeah it was a beautiful day and there was a bunch of sea turtles swimming around. Driving a Hummer in Hawaii is the life!

that vid proves the H3 does great even without a locker. Hilarious that the jeepers wouldn't try the hills you flew up, lol.

Yep base model bro - I wanted to do the ala Stallion Customs build and take a base H3 and build it out. I'm looking to get a 4' suspension lift, rims and 35's but for now this will do.

Sorry guys the video is down for the moment - Bandwidth Limit Exceeded -give it a few more minutes before checking it out.

Yeah exactly - some old dude came up to us and threatened to call the cops on us for trespassing. I heard they closed the tracks but this day, for some reason was open - so we took advantaged of it.

The old dude was just a bitter drunkard pissed off that he couldn't take his prius to all the cool fishing spots over the hills :p

There is another place in Mililani, I went there a long time ago with a 4x4 suzuki (i know ashamed) :o but it was still fun as hell. That's the next place I'm planning on going. But I'm going to wait a bit, on the way home from the North Shore we found a mud hole in Kapolei and ended up doing some scrambling, it took me 3 freakin days to get off all the mud!!

If you live here on Oahu maybe we can all go, another one of my friends just picked himself up a yellow H3 and been wanting to take it off-roading. You can contact me at admin@h3hi.com

Aloha.

- these are little bigger than the stock tires your get on the Adventure which I believe is 33's and just a tad smaller than 35's.

The tires you see is LT315 75R16 with a tbar adjustment and as you can tell by the video did pretty good!

duh 34 sorry was preoccupied when I wrote that - LOL:D

I turned my t-bars about 5 1/2 times the rear is 10 inches away from the tire and the front is 9 1/2 - it's less now because I installed the taller tires, but still leaves me plenty of room!!
