Hello everyone...first time poster...please be gentle and don't flame me.

Was is the most I should pay for the following H3:

2006
slate blue
7500 miles
excellent/new condition

auto transmission
luxury package
chrome wheels
chrome appearance package
chrome side steps
tow package
XM radio
home link remote on visor
power sunroof
chrome fuel door

(ORIGINAL STICKER PRICE WAS ~$38,600)

The lowest they will go is $32,500 (private party) and I am just not sure if they is a great deal considering you can get a brand new one for maybe $1,500 more comparably equipped (using the rebate money $2,000).

I would really appreciate your guy's (and gals!!!) opinions because maybe I am being unreasonable with the price. I think $31,000 is a more reasonable figure. I have already researched KBB, Edmunds, etc.

Thanks very much in advance.

A brand new vehicle depreciates by at least 20% as soon as it's driven off the lot. If you can get a brand new one for $1500 more, I would definately go that route if I were in your position.

x2! Especially with the 2007's hitting the lots. You should be able to get a good deal on a 2006.

BUY NEW!!! you will have 7500 more miles on your factory warranty. Plus the new car smell wears off after about 1000 miles.:D

10k under invoice with mileage under 10k is about what we would offer

What everyone else says. But if you do decide to go used, I'd come in even lower (factor in the interest you'll pay, use the current GM zero% financing as a negotiating tactic).

Plus, there's got to be at least a $5000 discount for all that chrome!

Yeah, I am thinking about getting a '06 Adventure Model with Manual Trans., White, with sunroof

After GMID - $30,765

Not bad, I could not imagine spending that much on a used H3, that price is with 0% too. I am still not sure if I am going to do it, I want too, but buying a house might come first.
