Had the opportunity to take an '07 for a spin at my Hummer Club meeting tonight.

My first impressions are that it is not much differen't from the '06 other than it has the new I5 with 20 more horsepower. The shifting seemed much smoother than mine. The acceleration was slightly better but not much. The gas/brake pedal feel closer together for some reason (as if they weren't close enough on the '06). This model had the Luxury package as well. DVD/Navigation was cool.

If the above upgrades are important to you and you are looking to buy or trade up, then go for it. Personally, i would try and get a deal on a remaning '06 to save some money.

It's a great vehicle to drive. The Leather seating is a lot more comfortable than the cloth.

Then again, this is my 2 cents. :)

2007 are all I5 so far. They have 14 of them on the lot here in Des Moines and they all have I5 listed on the window sticker. I also drove a 2007 and I could tell a slight difference in power on the test drive. Enough that I am going to get a 2007 instead. Or maybe I just "thought" I could tell the difference. Sometimes that is enough!

All '07 H3's are I-5, 3.7L engine.

Seems like a lot of change to drop for 22 more HP -- 3 grand in incentives...to each his own -- if I didn't check the VIN, I wouldn't be able to tell which year I was driving...

Yeah, apart from the H3x, there's not much new on the 2007's. 3.7L engine, Stabilitrak for the 5-spds and new color schemes (no green and darker blue).

Of course, you also get all the mid-year fixes, like hardened cylinder heads, non-cracking roof rails and such.
