A/C turns on when I push the Recirc button

Starting to get hot now so I have started using the A/C, first chance since I bought in December. I noticed the air got cold when I had the recirc ON and the A/C off....checked it, yep, A/C compressor runs when just the inside air recirc is on, kinda weird huh? Anyone else have this experience?

That's what it's supposed to do. I guess they assume that if you want to recirculate the air in the cabin that you'd want it cooled/conditioned....

Noticed that when I got mine too.

Also if fan is off ,air flows through vents .Hitting the recirculate button when fan is off stops the flow.
