Ground clearance to the bottom of the step bar is 13-14 inches

To tilt it up to the rock bar piece that has 2 holes in it . Drill the bracket to line up with one of the holes in the rock bar and bolt it. That is for the front bracket.

The back bracket you do the same but add an aprox. 3 inch piece of flat bar to tie them in. (because I mounted it by the flat step area) The very ends use a threaded bar. Drill through both bars and tie together.

To do the first side it took me about an hour and a half to figure it out then the otherside went much easer in about an hour. and it looks factory. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Just like that!!!!

I think it was a real mistake for Hummer not to make this possible straight from the factory. If they can do it on the H2, why not the H3?

Manik does it but I don't think the rocker protection is as strong. It has only 1 bar.

You do get what you pay for and Manik's look half as strong as well.
