Need a cheap cb for trail use. any sugestions... cheap and no I don't want to mount one in my truck good buddy.

I got mine at Wal-Mart for $80 and added an external antenna. It's a hand held.

Unless you are planning on trying to chat over several miles, try hand held, multi-channel Motorola walkies for vehicle to vehicle comms within a couple of miles. Much more versatile than a CB and very cost effective.

What is the max Wattage that one can use, legally
Whats the round about costs of a good one, for distance
