There are going to be individual vehicles of any make and model that have problems. There have been absolutely no wide spread problems with the H3.

No problems here. Almost a year having mine.
There were a couple reports of the head problem, but I think the cause was identified and corrected. A search will tell you. For a completely new model, the H3 has had remarkably few problems. We've had no problems with ours in 7000 miles.

well im asking because i know the better knowledge comes from forums like this one, its like the jeepfroum, i own jeep also and the forums all right most of the time.
i was refering to the problems expressed in the tchnical seccion of this forum were some had to have the cylinder head replaced and such.
was the change on the 2007's made because of this troubles.?

As far as I recall there were only a couple on here that had the head problem. The engine change for '07 was not because of this. I have had mine for just over 6 months and 8K miles with absolutely no problems.

Cylinder head issue is turning out to be not as big of a deal as everyone thought. New head is installed on all engines built after March 31. The new engine was scheduled long before the cylinder head issue became known.
I have 16K, about an exact year old, and only problem I have had is the TCCM replaced. I do need new roof rails, but hate going to the dealer. (Not because I hate the dealer, or the dealer is bad, but because I hate driving there and dropping off the vehicle.)

Sorry but for a minute there I thought this was from a troll looking for recommendations on warm footwear.
I have over 21K on my H3 and no engine problems to date. I am pleasantly surprised by it's reliability and lack of defects (my last daily driver was a Toyota which I owned for 3 years).

Luis, all vehicles will have something that needs to be checked out at some point. The H3 isn't any different. As you can see, most owners here have not had any problems. I've had a few more issues than normal, in my opinion, but I still enjoy my H3 100% and would not have wished for any other vehicle. This is the first time I've really been 'into' what I drive. You're going to love it. You'll only be sorry if your don't get one! Let us know how it goes tomorrow! :D hi
