I know in the past I've been less than pleased with some of the service I have received at Sac HUMMER.

I started this thread to let you know they have really stepped it up!

My last service before I went to the Rubicon resulted in my locker switch not being plugged in, hence my first day on the 'Con was perfomed without a locker:eek:

One of the Sales Reps that read this board approached me about it. A meeting was called...:D

Since then, I have been receiving follow-up phone calls asking if I was happy with my recent service and if there was anything I needed, to call back and let them know.

Then, when I returned from MOAB, my truck developed a new "issue". First I took it to the above mentioned nameless individual, and asked him if he thought the behaviour was normal. His answer was definitely NO.

He said he would get me a loaner if I brought it in on Friday. I said "Really?" "I've never had one, didn't know you had them, that would be great considering that rental car thing has always been a rotten experience". Perplexed, he said he would be right back. When he came back he said all the loaners were out, but he would work something out.

I showed up the next morning, He had left me his personal H3!!!

Now THAT is service! I returned his truck, a beautiful Midnight Blue Metallic, Lux/Adventure/Chrome pak, sweet, and picked up an H2!

So cool, I am so happy with my Dealer now. :grouphug:

But there is MORE!!!

Remember when a thread was posted about how Hummer helped the Rubicon by making a rather large cash donation to the Rubicon Trail Foundation???

Well, when I brought it to this above mentioned namless persons attention, I also mentioned that the HUMMER donation was going to be used to sponsor a Rubicon Trail Work weekend. I asked this person if he would like to donate some volunteers to attend the weekend?

HE DID AND THEY DID!!!!!

Here is a pick of our HUMMER techs working on a Walker Hill / Bridge Project!

They busted their butts and we should all be proud of how HUMMER of SACRAMENTO has stepped up!!!

LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!:grouphug:

They also received (forgive me if I get this wrong) A Master Dealership Award!!

HA!!!!:D

EXCEPTIONAL!! We all grew to love our rigs so much (too much?), they have definitely become more than "just a car". Competent service we get at a competent dealership feels as good as finding a competent doctor for our kids!

Way to go Hummer Sacramento! :)

Way to go, Sacramento Hummer!!!! :perfect10s: Awesome service! Let me also give a thumbs up to another Hummer service department who listened to me, found the problem and took care of it in ONE day.. I also got an H3 loaner. The other dealer service department was having a very difficult time identifying the problem for 2.5 months. This dealer found it in a day and took care of it. Awesome to work with! Casa Hummer in Sherman Oaks, Ca. Thanks guys! The Service Mgr really knows his stuff! :perfect10s: I agree with H2Finally ... it's great to find competent service. :D

You're back! We thought you might have sold your 3, turned fruity and bought a KY/FJ. That would have been tragic.

Nice to hear something positive about a Hummer dealer. (And possibly, the power of the web:D ).

Good news. My local dealer in Los Gatos has been very good so far (13 months since I bought the H3).
