Just received an invitation from Williamson Hummer to their Hummer event. I know there are a few H owners here from South Florida, anyone going? I chose the afternoon session on Nov 18th.
This will be my first one, I heard they can either be really fun or kind of boring.
Post and let me know if anyone is going and we can meet at the event.

FLA_H3RYD (RubHer Yellow Ducky) lives in Miami, I think. Send him a PM if he doesn't see your thread here. Is it going to be a road rally? Can't see you all off-roading in the Everglades. (:giggling:) Have fun! Getting together with other Hummer owners is great, no matter where you go!

My office is off the Gartigny and 37th but I live in P Pines. Any spots you know of to enjoy our trucks? I keep turning off the road everytime I see a vacant lot but I need more.
Hope you can make it.

Is this an off-road event, or just a gathering? Do you know where it's going to take place at?
K9sH3 - That's pretty much right. You'll get free stuff, if you're not a customer of theirs they won't make that money back. :shhh: You might try RSVP'ing though, see if they let you slide.

I'm at Williamson RIGHT NOW, as we type, getting a flat tire fixed.
They told me that registration closes out on the 10th of November and if there is space they will let me come.
My service Adviser, Mike Sutherland seems like a nice guy and I will keep in touch with him on this...
BUT
If any of you, my South Florida BUDDIES want to call Williamson and INSIST that they let me partake of this event, well you never know.
It is nice that they have a internet line and computer and a fax and a copy machine for me to use. Wish I could have bought here but it was a matter of saving $800 big ones.

Seems its gona be a off road event at Oleta State Park off of 163rd Street near the ocean, (i think)
I believe they are creating a track with a hill or 2 (HILLS IN FLORIDA HAVE TO BE BUILT) and some side inclines and mud pits, spotters, mechcanics, tow truck, food, hats and XXXXXXX...

I was in the same boat. I was gonna buy at Coral Hummer and then bought the same damn truck for $15K less from some desperate guy in Texas. Sheeeeyet, they BETTER let me come. They wouldn't want the slickest SUT down here to be left out!:dancingbanana:
Hey and we don't have to build ALL the hills in Florida . . . . . just the ones more than 10 feet above sea level.:D

Williamson ownes 50% of Vera from what I hear. Vera worked at Williamson before the joint venture. I still went to both dealers and used them against each other with out them knowing. It worked well.
Hope to see some of you guys out there.

I know. I told Williamson I bought it at Williamson, the 50% they own of Vera, but it didn't fly. I have a feeling that they will let me attend. I bring both of my 3's into Williamson Miami for service and not all of it is warrenty so they do get money from me.
The reason I purchased both at Vera is that I saved $800. Thats a lot of money.

Don't leave me out! Have truck will travel.
RYD, I know you are not going to like hearing this but according to the Williamson guys there. 12 people did not show for the morning session. Some H owners just showed up and hung out looking at the trucks, they did not ride the trails. Benny the GSM was pissed that so many did not show because of the waiting list they had.
Also I was talking to the GM and asked how we like the trail as my truck has more mud then the others, and I replied we need more mud next time. He was surprised that anyone would say that. But I let me know that with out mud its not a Hummer Event.
They gave out a bunch of toys. I received a Toy H2 ( abount 18in long, not small at all and yellow), a hummer overnight bag, hummer colonge, 2 travel mugs and a hummer towel. Also in the raffle I won a Hummer portable radio. Not bad at all but I really wanted the Hummer BBQ (in yellow) or the Hummer bike they gave away.

I took a buddy of mine with me and he just bought his wife an H3 from Vera. I had to kick him out of the car to take a few pics because he was having so much fun he did not want to miss experiencing any of the obsticals. He was going to call Vera to see when they were having one also.
