I'd go for it! Lop 2 cylinders from the Dmax, put a solid Dana 60 axle under both ends with a locker in them, winch kit, proper skid plates, 35s, DONE!

Unless you go aftermarket, you won't see one; at least during this decade.

Four or five cylinder...not sure, it was delayed so I haven't seen it, yet.
